One of the favorite products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 is Vinci, the tablet is intended for infants and toddlers (infants under the age of three years), the outputof Hong Kong based company, Rullingnet Corp..
Launched by Vincigenius on Monday (1/10/2011), Vinci Tab isa touch-screen computers designed specifically for infant andtoddler safety. Not only the design, Vinci also use materials that are not dangerous, considering the baby has a habit insertforeign objects into his mouth.
Different from tablet at the usual, Vinci is not equipped withfunctioning Wi-Fi or 3G. In addition, Vinci, which usesGoogle’s Android operating system is also equipped with an application that is inspiring and instructive. That is, parents need not worry about their children seeing harmful contentthrough the tablet.
The Vinci Tablet is powered by an ARM based Cortex A8 1GHz processor and comes with a 512 RAM. It has a 7″ LCD touchscreen display, a 3MP HD front facing camera and a micro USB connection for easy file transfers. This tablet runs on the android OS. The Vinci Tablet is not 3G or WiFi ready, making it safer for kids in terms of lesser radio emissions. The Vinci Tablet is now available at Amazon for pre-orders at a base price of US$389. This tablet for kids is expected to be shipped on August 10.
